Thank you for your interest in information regarding pipe trades apprenticeships.
For decades the Loyd E Williams Pipe Trades Training Center has served the Santa Clara and San Benito Counties by offering the highest quality apprenticeship courses in America. Our affiliation with Foothill Community College allows for a fully accredited program through the Division of Apprenticeship Standards for the State of California. We have over 70 instructors that bring first rate teaching skills and a vast store of field experiences to bear in order to enrich your classroom experience.
This apprenticeship program is committed to equal opportunity in recruitment, selection and training. No previous trade knowledge is necessary to apply!
The program consists of five years of supervised on-the-job training that is accompanied by classroom instruction that supports and compliments the jobsite experience. A beginning apprentice in one of our commercial tracks will earn in excess of $20 per hour and pays no tuition.
Upon graduation from the program the apprentice is granted journey level status. Journeymen are encouraged to return to the training center in order to expand their knowledge and add to their skill sets through our journey level training program. Tuition free!
All of this training takes place within the confines of our state-of-the-art 96,000 square foot facility that was purpose built for pipe trades training. Check out the virtual tour!
Thanks again for your interest in our apprenticeship. Below you will find materials that outline all of our offerings.
