Steamfitting

The Pipe Trades Training Center has worked diligently with the National Occupational Competency Testing Institute (NOCTI) to create curriculum that extends down to the level of daily lesson plans that include Power Point slides that cover every moment of class time for the entire five years.

The Steamfitting Apprenticeship is a five-year program in which courses are offered in three-hour sessions.  The program consists of a standard set of curriculum which will provide the apprentices with the opportunity to learn through a variety of different methods include Power Point presentations, assignments, lab activities (hands-on) and other in-class activities.  Additional methods of instruction may include videos, field trips or special presentations by industry representatives.
